Lean Supply Chain Management For Flexibility and Speed

By eliminating the layers involved with a traditional supply chain structure, a direct line of collaboration is established between the manufacturer and the customer.  With a direct line between customers and manufacturers, communication on product design, specifications, quality controls, forecasting and logistics are greatly improved.  This not only allows for increased economy and efficiency, but improved quality as well.

Minsia: Your Global Sourcing and Importing Agent

It's in our name - Global Sourcing Strategies. With decades of experience and collaborative resources around the globe, Minsia can help your business develop strategies to procure the products you need.

Whether you wish to find new sources for an existing product, or a source to facilitate new project developments, we can help. We utilize our staff, manufacturing partners and affiliates to tap into a vast network of existing sources, and also seek out new manufacturers and suppliers as needed.   With domestic and international importing options, we have a wide range of resources to find what you need.  We can breakdown the language, communication, logistical and cultural barriers that may have slowed or prevented your efforts in the past.

The Difference Between Importing and Sourcing

In discussions with our customers and prospects, questions about sourcing versus importing are often raised.  It is important to note that, although the two sectors are alike on the surface, distinct factors surely separate the two into specific designations

In simplistic terms, to import any product or material you must have an identified product, an identified source and a detailed process on getting the items from "point a" to "point b".  In turn, the sourcing of items or materials is specific to just that - the sourcing.  We proactively focus on the researching, interviewing and testing of suppliers and manufacturers to determine if they have the resources and competence to meet the needs of our clients.  Further in the process, samples from multiple candidates are made available, and continued evaluations will provide insight as to the viability of each supplier.
